Can anything be done about the increase in inappropriate ad posts
Is it my imagination or is there an increase in inappropriate responses to forum questions involving drugs and all kinds of unsolicited ads? Not keen on posting at the moment and it is hard to wade through all the posts to do with weight loss and creams and then a genuine question has a response post offering drugs.

IMO the thread title is usually a dead giveaway, so I don't find them hard to ignore.
On the other hand, wading through some other posts does feel like a waste of time... those who do no research and want their trips planned for them down to which sights to see, or those who type one long, rambling paragraph without breaks... More annoying than the spam.

Good comments thank you. Jean I posted long paragraphs until a poster kindly pointed it out to me (in the nicest possible way) and I appreciated her alerting me.
I am good researcher but must confess sometimes the conflicting posts makes it confusing and coming so far from NZ it really helps to get locals specific guidance.
All our trips are planned with Fodorites help and I am really thankful.

jinx, don't be too confused by conflicting posts. People have different travel styles and like to do/see/eat and pace themselves in different ways on their trips. Look at what helps you and ignore the rest.
