Sarah- I live in Charleston and work at Charleston Place and hope that you'll have a WONDERFUL stay with us. Some of my favorite places to eat are the Charleston Grill, Peninsula Grill, Vintage, The Boathouse, Il Cortile del Re, and Basil (Thai) downtown and the Mustard Seed on James Island (a 10 min. drive). Basil does lunch as well as dinner. The Rooftop at the Vendue Inn is great for a light meal or cocktails, even though a building now blocks their formerly great view of the harbor, and the Terrace on Marion Square is another good open air place if it's not too hot out. You'll have a private concierge on the Club level, so they can give you lots of additional recommendations and directions and make reservations for you as well. Enjoy!

We just returned from Savannah on our honeymoon. We stayed at the Baalastone inn which I can not say enough good things about. They were wonderful there and we were treated like royalty. Check out their website.
We spent 5 days there and could have stayed longer. Boneventure cemetary was very interesting. We went to Lady and Sons to eat which was great. Sixpence Pub and Churchills were fun pubs as well as Kevin Berry's.
Mrs. Wilkes is a must do but we found it to be a bit overrated.
River Street was my husband's favorite and he loved being ablt to walk around town with a beer in his hand.
My favorite part was talking to the locals. We got so much information and everyone was so friendly.
We were thinking of going to Hilton head also but could not drag ourselves away from Savannah. We did however go over to Tybee Island which was great also. Only 20 minutes away. We went on a dolphin cruise and did some shopping.
We met some fun locals there also.
have fun. We sure did
