Denali lodging

My husband and I will be spending a few days in Denali. What is your favorite place to stay in or just outside the park. Thanks.

Will you have your own transportation??? You will be limited without and there is no lodging inside the park. I really like Touch of Wilderness B&B in Healy, one of the nicest I have stayed at (and I've stayed at plenty).

I have not stayed there yet, but Denali Domehome got some good reviews on this board and the price was reasonable. We have reservations for June.

The Denali Grand Hotel has wonderful, cozy cabins with fabulous views. It's well worth the money, or you can stay in the hotel itself. They have a lovely dining room with a wonderful view, and may have the best food in Denali. Have you considered taking the train from Anchorage to Denali and on to Fairbanks, flying back to Anchorage? It's something to consider.
