Fodorites in print
I was in Barnes in Noble yesterday and looked for the Fodorite posts. They are the chapter openers in the new print books.
There are 2-3 quotes from Fodorites on each chapter opening page and the website listed at the bottom of the page.
Sunshinesue in in the 2006 Florida book. Patrick (as Patrick) is quoted in several books. Saw several Fodorites I "know" quoted.
The newer books have orange spines (printed when this page went burnt orange I guess). I think the addition of Fodorite comments are in the ones with "2006" in the title. Found some orange books that don't have the new chapter opener feature.
Kinda cool to read the comments from "real" people (not that editors aren't "real people", but ya know what I mean!)

BayouGal, Fodor's quoted you on this:
"Now that we're back from our two-week Alaska trip, I can say quite honestly that kayaking in Alaska will not disappoint you. The place is magnificient. My best advice is to bring barrels of money and tons of time!"

This reminds me of that scene in "The Jerk" where Steve Martin's character was so excited when the new phone books came out. He thought if his name is in print, that makes him really important. Are we all going to be like that when new Fodor's books are released? :-?

<gasp> My name is in print?? OMG, now I KNOW I am a part of Fodor greatness. WOOHOO, this makes my day!! It must be in the Greece book, since I rarely post about any of those other places. YIPPEE, I'll head to the book store this weekend and take a look.
