Jette, have a happy and blissful reunion!
Scarlett, I hope your daughter is ok now.
Rave: My husband has had the best summer visit ever with his teenaged daughter.
Rave: As much as we've loved having her, she leaves Sunday and we will have our privacy once again.
Rave: Three day weekend with the day after Carnival (Monday) being a holiday....AND I will have peace and quiet at home to enjoy it. Ahhhh.
Rave: Going to the Calypso Show at Carnival tonight and plan to have fun, fun, fun until the wee hours!
Rave: We can all sleep in for a change tomorrow!
Rave: The weather has been absolutely gorgeous and looks to remain the same for awhile.
Rant: When Freaky Friday Rants and Raves turn into a political debate.

When people pay to hear Linda Rondstat sing and here political rhetoric, they get unhappy.
When people post on Friday Rants & Raves, do they also deserve to hear about Michael Moore and a few posters political views?
Instead of spoiling Rants and Raves, why not post your own Politics on Friday thread instead of ruining these?

Rant: It looks like it could start raining any moment now.
That could put a serious damper on the backyard party we're having tomorrow.
Rave: Even if it rains - I'll still get to see all the people I love spending time with. Might have to change it to Sunday.
Rant: Seriously trying to find time to get out to Chicago.
Rave: Just got back from 2 mile walk.
Off to the shower.
Have a great weekend!! Our kids love catching the Gekko (salamanders) Scarlett - they're much quicker than I am with the plastic cup.

hey all! it'll be a good weekend! 
rave: no plans this weekend. even though it'll pour all weekend.
rave: very busy at work!! won't complain, it feels good. and i like my job!
rave: getting excited for a 10 yr h.s reunion next week!
big rant: poor kitty! he had fleas, and my mom had to bomb the house. the pet groomer place boarded him over night. i know he was o.k, but i worried all night.
it'll be better for him in the long run. it got rid of some night crawlers too.
rant: can't shake this exhaustion. need more sleep. but i hope to tomorrow morning!
