Hamilton - Are There Bad Seats at the Rodgers?
Mr. Pickle and I are planning our 35th anniversary trip to New York next year. I am planning to buy tickets for Hamilton as soon as I can. Are there any bad seats or sections I should avoid at the Rodgers?

We were in the second or 3rd row from the back, in the balcony, and almost at the edge, and I didn't feel we missed anything.
We were in the right rear mezzanine and the seats were fine. We also didn't feel like we missed anything.
Have a great trip! I cried all the way through the play. It was an incredible experience!

I have read that some seats have limited visibility, but I can't confirm. And please go into the show with expectations in check. I'm a history buff and Alexander Hamilton is my favorite founding father, but I found the show to be fine, and entertaining, but certainly not extraordinary. (Personally, I didn't care for the music.)

The very rear orchestra seats are situated below the overhang, blocking the top of the set in a few scenes. However, there are not that many instances where this is a major factor.
My favorite seats are in the raked section of the orchestra, but before the overhang begins. I've sat there twice now, and loved not having to worry about people blocking my view. (I'm very petite.) But if you already love the cast album, I'm sure you won't be disappointed no matter where you sit!

Normally my favorite seats for musicals are front row mezzanine, but I did it once at the Rodgers and it was the worst seat I've ever had anywhere with my legs literally twisted sideways to fit between the front of the seat and the wall in front of me. Otherwise anywhere is better than that.
