Harrisburg - what hotel

Will be flying into the Harrisburg Airport around midnight and picking up a rental car.
I don't know the area any suggestions for a good safe hotel nearby. Will also be going to the Civil War Museum in Harrisburg the next day. Thanks for any suggestions.

Only one that I am familiar with is the Marriott which is good. There are other chain hotels there as well. Are you planning a visit to Hershey also? Gettysburg is also close. Here are a couple of links that may be of value

There's a Hilton right in the middle of downtown, and there's also a lively restaurant and bar scene in the same area. You're also just a short drive to the CW Museum.

I would recommend the Marriott or the Holiday Inn. They are both very close to the airport (Swatara Exit). If you have kids (or not even) you can tour Hershey Chocolate World for free.

I stay at the Hilton Towers downtown. I like the parking garage and the location to everything...
