Help me choose in French Quarter, New Orleans?
I think I'm down to choosing between 3 hotels in October, please help me choose. Location is really key, we need to be within easy walking distance of the sites due to a slight disability. Safety is key too. Has to be under $200 per night. We will not have a car, so parking not an issue. I've done a bit more research since my last post, and here are my 3 choices.
- Lafitte Guest House $199
- Dauphine Orleans $175
- Bienville $198
Let me know your thoughts, or if I've really missed one I should consider. Thanks, annieladd

you may want to consider hotel monteleone. not sure but it may come in at under 200 and it a block or so from bourbon st. it is less than 10 minutes to cafe dumond and is really in a good location. also has hottub and pool onsite. indoors. enjoyed my stay there earlier this year

Monteleone was over our $200 budget. I thought Bienville would get more votes. Any others, let me know.
Other question, I know we want to go to Commander's Palace, I ate there many years ago. Would you recommend Saturday night dinner or Sunday brunch?
