Hotels near the Shelborne in South Beach

I am trying to find out what hotels are very close to the Shelborne in South Beach. I have friends staying there but it is too high for me and want something a little less but still want to be close to them. Thanks

The Shelbourne: Corner of 18th & Collins Avenue oceanfront.

CHEAP:

Catalina: Between 17th&18th on Collins across the street from the beach.

Maxine: Between 17th&18th on Collins across the street from the beach.

MODERATE:

Holiday Inn: On the corner of 22nd and Collins oceanfront (no resort or parking fee and free use of beach chairs)

MODERATE PLUS:

South Seas: Between 17th&18th on Collins Avenue oceanfront.

Marseilles: Between 17th&18th on Collins Avenue oceanfront.

Even still a little nicer in the same vacinity oceanfront are: The Doubletree Surfcomber, Royal Palm Crowne Plaza, The Raleigh, and The Richmond Hotel.

We had a view corner room at the South Seas and liked it a lot. Very close to the Shelborne, if not next door.

Char--you are so lucky to get these results! I have been trying to get similar results on my post for hotels near the Fountainbleau but can't seem to get a good variety of choices to work with...
Maybe South Beach is just more well known (since it is more popular)...?
