Las Vegas Airport Shuttles

Is there any one airport shuttle to the strip that is better than the others? I'd like to be able to pre-pay on-line to speed up the process. Also, about how long can we expect a trip from the airport to Paris to take by shuttle? Is using a shuttle a hassle? Would we be better off to take a taxi? If so, what can we expect the fare to be for 2-3 people? Thanks!!

For 3 people taxi may be cheaper. For 2 a shuttle is just a little cheaper.

I don't know if pre-payment saves you time. You won't have to pay there, save 5 minutes. You will still have to stay in line waiting for the shuttle. We paid, and people with vouchers were in the same line.

Unless I were in Vegas as a single traveler, I can't imagine taking a shuttle instead of a taxi for a trip to the Paris. The taxi will usually be quicker than finding, loading, and doodling around with a shuttle, and even with two people, hardly a difference in price.

I would take a taxi and skip the shuttle. Vegas shuttles make multiple stops and it can take an hour to reach your hotel. For less money, you can grab a taxi and be at your hotel in no time. The airport taxi line is extremely efficient and moves quickly.

What they said!! It would never make economic sense in any typical shuttle cost for 3 people to take a shuttle over a taxi.

We just returned from a week in Las Vegas. Taxi fare to Paris was $15.50 on a Tuesday at 6:30PM. Taxi queue was much shorter than shuttle, and moved very quickly, and driver takes care of bags.

Thanks for all the great responses. Do the taxi drivers take credit cards?

We used taxis in Las Vegas quite a few times. Only one had a credit card machine. There are ATMs at the airport.
