Mid/Lower Cape Cod accommodation decision for Sept
My husband & I will attend a wedding at Ocean Edge Resort (Brewster) in Sept, and would stay near it for 2 nights. I have researched, read posting, and came down to a few choices:
The Ruddy Turnstone Inn-Brewster; Candleberry Inn- Brewster; Isaiah Hall- Dennis; Orleans Inn- Orleans; Nauset House- Orleans
We have never been to the area, and would like to stay somewhere "Cape Codish", friendly, and easy to get to Ocean Edge and around for a little sight seeing. Anyone has any comments of these choices or other suggestions? Your help is much appreciated!

I have stayed at the Ruddy Turnstone, and I loved it. This was truly a "Cape Coddish" experience. Sally and Swanee are just great people who love to take care of their guests. If you can afford it I would suggest the Bay View Suite. The picture they have on the website does not do it justice. I just loved getting up in the mornings, opening the windows (the wall opposite the bed is all windows), and just soaking in the beautiful scenery. If you can't stay in the suite, they have other nice rooms, and their adjacent Carriage House is great also.
If you don't have their website, here it is.

I stayed at the Nauset House in August because of a recommendation that I saw here. It was very reasonable and nice. The breakfast was excellent, the host were very pleasant and I would highly recommend it.
