Mother/Daughter Trip Near Denver

I'm trying to find a suitable place somewhere near Denver for a mother/daughter spa trip in late January. We are not skiiers. Does anyone have any recommendations? Our budget is fairly limited so reasonably priced suggestions are very welcome! Thanks in advance!

http://www.stjulien.com in Boulder is very nice is your wanting a spa with lodging. Good location for dining, shoping and hiking.

If you do not need lodging then
http://www.tallgrassspa.com in Evergreen

In Denver look at
http://www.theoxfordhotel.com great location for dining shopping

Another thought. For a cheaper alternative look at the Aveda Institute on 16th street. Book a room at the Courtyard by Marriott on 16th. The Aveda Institute is where they train for Aveda Salons. I go often for an inexpensive treat. Know that on weekends though it can be hectic and you will want to make appointments. Book on-line and you save a bit more. That area of Denver would be fun for a girls getaway.

I second Tallgrass.

You may want to look at Gold Lake Resort which is near Boulder.

And the Aria spa at the Vail Cascade is fantastic as well.

Hi Yale! Agree with the Vail Cascade. The only reason I did not mention it is that in Jamuary it is pretty pricey to stay there.

Coskier, I love your limited budget suggestion! I've wanted to try the Aveda Institute, so it is nice to hear good review.

wtm003, I got tired of paying $$$$ to the Aveda Spa in Keystone and found the Aveda Institute. I have never been on a weekend but heard that it is hectic then. While not a true "spa" experience the value cannot be beat. I have had my hair cut and highlighted and have been pleased as well. I am going to give the Aveda Academy on Market a try for hair next time. They have students that are licensed but are going for additional training, The price is a bit more than the Institute but still well below an Aveda Salon. They only do hair there though not the spa treatments.

Tallgrass isn't very budget-friendly either.
