New York city restaurant with a view

How much do you want to spend and do you have any food preferences, or is the view more important?

The Marriott Marquis, located in the theater district, has a very nice restaurant with great views.

Nirvana, an Indian restaurant with food rated as "decent" but not exceptional, is said to have a marvelous view of central park from the southern end. The River Cafe in Brooklyn is at water's edge with amazing views of the NYC skyline and although pricey, is said to have excellent food. It's been recommended many times in this forum to those seeking a "romantic" dinner destination.

The River Cafe, just under the Brooklyn Bridge has a beautiful view of the skyline and river. Very romantic. Another view is the restaurant at The World Trade Towers. Pricey-but thats NYC. Zagats has a website-www.zagats.com. This should help!
