Phoenix/Sun City hotels help needed

We will be taking 101 up to Olive and then a right at 99th to Concord and on to Balboa.....haven't been able to find any hotels near this area. Who lives down there that can help us? We heard there is a new stadium nearby so I'm assuming there must be plenty of hotels? The closer to our destination the better. If you have a good list, that would be appreciated so we can compare prices and amnities and so on...thank u so much

The physically closest to the area that Balboa runs through is Ramada Peoria ( http://www.resideo.com/us/arizona/peoria/52511699.hotel ) -- it's out on Highway 60.

Hope that helps!

Thank you very much. What is next to the new stadium?

Next to the new Cardinal stadium is Westgate which has several restaurants (Yardhouse & Fox Sports Grill) and a movie theater. There are hotels being built there but I don't believe the first hotel opens until this coming September or October.

Just north a couple of miles on the 101 at Bell Road there are several hotels (Clarion and whatnot).

FYI - Phoenix is a pretty spread out location that requires a car for sure, so getting something closer than that could be challenging.

At Bell Road and the 101, there are around 5 or 6 hotels. There is a Residence Inn, Hampton Inn, La Quinta, Holiday Inn Express to just name a few. There's not any hotels open just yet by the new stadium. I'd stay away from any hotel on Highway 60 also known as Grand Ave. if I were you. The area around Bell Rd and the 101 is much nicer and not far from your destination. Also, there are tons of restaurants in that area from fast food to fine dining. Just a few are Red Robin, P.F. Chang's, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Applebee's, 3 different steak house, etc.
