South Beach Hotels

Looking for a reasonably priced hotel on South Beach, around or under 150. a night. Single woman traveling alone. Would like to park and walk "everywhere".

We've stayed at Essex House a couple of times. No complaints. I like the location, on Collins, sort of in the middle of things.

Hi belarus, it would be a good thing, I believe, if after choosing one hotel and staying there
you can give us some feedback...it is going to be helpful for those living in Miami....

I dont have a particular recommendation, but I will say to look at them all on tripadvisor or post the specific hotels here. There are a lot of little hotels on Collins Avenue (not on the beach side, but the west side of the street) that, IMO, are still seedy.
Oh wait - I stayed once at the Courtyard on Washington Avenue, that was fine. Walk to everything.
What time of year are you looking...if you come after May prices drop on some amazing spots!
Also check travelzoo - sometimes they have special rates on great hotels. The Mondrian is listed on there a lot.
Good Luck!!
