While in SA most definitely stop by the Pearl http://atpearl.com/food where you will have several restos from which to choose. If you like seafood, Sand Bar is excellent, and has a stellar wine list. Arcade Midtowne Kitchen is a favorite; if you like beef even a little bit try the rib eye steak. The Granary gets raves for its barbeque and craft beers - leaves Salt Lick in the dust.

You could do an urban hike from the Alamo along the Riverwalk Museum Reach to the Pearl, maybe stop along the way at the SA Museum of Art.

We did a Segway tour in San Antonio, and it was really fun, a great way to see the city.

We did the Austin Segway tour and really enjoyed ourselves. I agree, great way to see a city.
