Tides Inn -

Has anybody been in 2007? I have not found many current posts. My family of 20 will be staying over Thansgiving weekend.

Adding a city would be helpful.

Yes, adding a city or at least state might be a help..first five on google are Virginia, California, Maine, Florida and Alaska.

It was horrible.

Big giant alien was in my room and ate the bed.

My thoughts: The Birds (Alfred Hitchcock), the Tide's Wharf and Restaurant . . . the Tide's Inn in Bodega Bay?

If that's it, we stayed there in 05 and loved it. Haven't been since then, hotel man.

There is a Tides Inn (really a seedy motel) that is (was?) on Long Island and how shall I say this.... short sheet would probably be kind apparently. I remember reading something in the local paper a while back that the place was used by prostitutes and drug addicts looking to get high.... nice. So if that's the one, don't go... unless that your thing.

The correct name is "the inn above the tides" in sausalito, ca, just north of san Francisco.

Unless you're speaking of the tides inn in petersburg, alaska - freezing during thanksgiving!

If you're talking about Tides Inn Northern neck Va then it's still a 5 star resort and has been a major attraction on the Chesapeake Bay for many.
