Trip to Cape Cod - HELP!!!

I am looking to take a road trip to Cape Cod with my boyfriend(we're both 25) for 2-3 days in September. I've heard mixed reviews about areas to visit/stay. Does anyone have any views as to where we would have the most fun? Also looking at Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Thanks!

What's your idea of fun? Biking? Hiking? Sunbathing? Clubbing?

Looking for B & B's, charm, budget motels, luxury hotels?

we're looking for b&b's with a bit of charm. we're not on a budget, but odn't want to spend tons of money. probably not clubbing, but biking, sunbathing, getting a feel for the culture, tours, maybe hiking, eating seafood!!!

The most fun for 20-somethings on the Cape is the mid-cape area of Hyannis, Yarmouth, Dennis. Hot spots such as Pufferbellies, the Mill Hill Club and RooBar are here as well as the most choices for places to stay. Further out the Cape you might enjoy the Beachcomber in Wellfleet and Provincetown with all it's nightlife.

It would be ridiculous to try and do the Cape, MV and Nantucket in 2-3 days.

I suggest you stay in Brewster on Cape Cod. There are a lot of B&B's along route 6A. There you can pick up the C.C. rail trail and do some biking. There are also some good hikes in the area and more around the national seashore area. Past Brewster is the upper cape which pretty much shuts down after Labor Day until you get out to P'town. Eat at the Brewster Fish House. For night life go to the Woodshed.
Also, recommend Chatham. Lot's of B&B's there as well. Shopping downtown. Plenty of good restaurants. For nightlife try the Squire or Christian's.
