What travel websites are people using on the order of Priceline?

I'm just curious to see what kind of "bid your vacation" sites people are using. Thoughts, opinions, experiences and suggestions are appreciated. Also, is Priceline headed for the graveyard?

As a travel consultant I may be a bit predjudiced, but from comments I have heard and my own personal experience there's nothing as efficient as a good travel agent. At least they offer you CHOICES! And I have been able to meet or beat 99% of the fares clients have found on the net.

Recently came back from a short visit to New England over the Xmas holidays & purchased by ticket thru Priceline.
I decided I wanted to go in mid-Dec & when I checked thru the airlines & Expedia, I found the best price from Dallas to Boston (roundtrip) was $310.
Started bidding at $147, and went up; on Dec 16, they accepted my bid for $171, which with taxes ended up totaling $187 --- this was my first experience with Priceline & I was very pleased with what I got.

Flew out on Saturday, Dec 23rd (American Airlines) on a direct non-stop flight that left DFW at 12:43 pm and arrived into Boston Logan @ 5:33 pm.
Return flight was on Wednesday, Dec 27th --- departed BOS @ 5:33 pm and landed @ DFW, 9:05 pm.

After Priceline e-mailed me the confirmation w/itinerary, I then called American Airlines (didn't mention Priceline) and asked them to give me a seat assignment, which they did. Also said, "by the way I forgot to include my Frequent Flyer No." and the rep keyed in that info --- when I checked in & got my boarding pass, I saw my AAdvantage No. on it, so I will be getting the miles for the trip.

All in all, I had no problems whatsoever & got a better deal than if I'd gone thru a travel agent or direct w/airline.

Not like Priceline, but I use biztravel.com to book both business and pleasure flights. They guarantee a number of airlines (USAirways, Continental, several more) and reimburse you $100 if flight is delayed more than 1 hr, full reimbursement if cancelled, a specified amount ($25 or $50?) if your seat assignment isn't honored, plus a number of other customer focused bonuses. They stand by their promises -- I've been reimbursed! Takes about 10 days. Actually they are a Travel Agent's on-line outlet (Rosenbluth). Also get you low internet prices. My personal experience has been super.

www.hotwire.com
Similar to Priceline, but it shows you the price up front and you then have 30 minutes to take it or leave it (so have your homework done ahead of time!). I had friends in this week that used Hotwire and got tix for $220 each that normally go for $420 even with 21 day advance purchase.
