Fodor's Expert Review La Cuisine
$$
Grande-Terre
French
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
It's a bit of Basque country and a lot of Bordeaux, with shades of Morocco in the colorful pillows. If you enjoy raw fish, try the stunningly presented red tuna encrusted with sesame seeds. The chef and proprietor, Frank Le Lan, buys the freshest of food, such as the ouassous (crawfish) he puts in a salad with a passion-fruit vinaigrette. A terrine made with grapefruit and green tea is a guilt-free dessert.
