Fodor's Expert Review Nisbet Plantation Beach Club
Nevis, St. Kitts and Nevis Fodor's Choice
Editor's Note: This location is reported to be under new ownership and therefore this review may contain inaccuracies.
At this beachfront plantation inn, pale-yellow cottages face a regal, palm-lined, grass avenue—which sweeps like a giant croquet lawn to a lovely champagne-hue beach—and faultlessly maintained rooms have vaulted ceilings, graceful patios, gleaming tile floors, granite accents, and whimsical touches like trompe l'oeil jungle murals. The so-called superior units, set back amid banyan trees, are nearly as spacious as top-of-the-line rooms yet cost some $125 less. Service is efficient and caring, and convivial managers welcome guests as if they were family. In addition to the Great House restaurant, you'll find two casual beach eateries and a deck bar with fantastic sunset views. Treatments in the small spa use exclusive island products.

- Plentiful recreational options
- Complimentary afternoon tea, laundry service, and smiles
