Fodor's Expert Review Portland Mayor's Mansion

More than a century ago, Portland Mayor H. Russell Albee resided in this stately redbrick Colonial Revival mansion on the edge of gracious Laurelhurst Park. Today, the 1912 home is an inviting B&B with four large guest accommodations, including a spacious suite with a sunroom overlooking the park. Two rooms do share a bathroom, but it's a beauty with white tile walls and a large glass shower. It's a short walk to some of the trendiest restaurants in town, around the intersection of 28th and Burnside.
