The Old City Harbor Port sits in the very heart of modern Tallinn and is half a mile from the city center. Terminal facilities are comprehensive, and include a restaurant, bank–exchange facilities, tourist information shops, and restrooms. Taxis wait outside the terminal building for journeys into the Old Town; otherwise, it's only a short walk from the port.

Taxi drivers are bound by law to display an operating license and a meter. There is no need to rent a car while in Tallinn, as all the major attractions are in the Old Town, which is very close to the cruise pier.
