Inn of Silent Music
Located in a town that's separated by water from the other two villages on Smith Island, this remote English cottage–style inn takes its soothing name from a phrase in a poem by the mystic St. John of the Cross, a Carmelite monk. The rooms are small with antique linens and big windows. Tylerton has no restaurants, but, for an extra charge, the eclectic innkeepers will cook a fresh seafood dinner for guests.
